where is the sunshine ???

Its the middle of june and what is going on with the weather ? looking outside looks like its going to be another drizzly day so im sorting through my mini`s i have a lovely new study to work in now so i have to keep it tidy ! ive just listed some more strawberry miniatures  on my etsy site please pop along and take a look heres a sneaky peak x.

Hi everyone just a few of my favourite things i have for sale on etsy, when the weather is miserable outside i cant think of anything better than feeding my passion for all things mini so have spent the afternoon busy designing new pieces that will soon be for sale, hope you like them.

Beef stew !!

Sorry it`s been a long time since my last post but i`ve been really busy with  the house trying to get things in order  , once you make a dent in something you notice other things that need looking at and before you know it your up to your eyeballs ,hopefully thats it for a  while !!! back to important things like miniatures thought i`d share some of my savoury mini`s today this hot pot is one of my favourites my nan used to make this all the time  , wish i`d took more notice when she was cooking i`m a rubbish cook !! she`d make everything look so easy, but so tasty  !!! its a shame the washing up wasn`t so easy they didn`t have dish washers in thoses days that`s what grandchildren were for  ( well thats what she kept telling me anyway !!)

Chocolate truffles anyone ??

Here are some miniatures i have made this week, i have included a photo of my messy work area !! the shame of it , good job it`s in the loft and nobody else see`s  it except like minded miniaturist who appreciate the organised chaos that inspires us , well that`s what i keep telling myself , i`m in chocolate mode for now and this is my first attempt at a chocolate box filled with truffles, i`m trying out different papers for the box so will probably have dozens by the time i`m completely happy with it, when there done they will be coming to Newark for my next show , enjoy ! remember no calories !!

Well this is my first post , i`v spent ages trying to sort out my new blog spot think it still needs some tweeking but i`m ready for a cupa now !! after two hours, i`m not that clued up when it comes to computers but this is something i`ve wanted to do for ages so be prepared for lots of changes ! i`ve been working on some miniature cakes today as soon as the camera is charged i`ll get some pics on , stawberry topped victoria sponge filled with fresh cream mmmmm, have also managed to finish some of my cream filigree cake stands after sticking my fingers together twice i finally got it right !! but they do look beautifull so i can`t complain, hope you like them too . x
